Frequently Asked Questions
What Can We Answer For You?
Calvary Christian Academy teaches subjects that are common to all Elementary education—including English, mathematics, science, history, etc.
However, we teach all subjects through a Biblical lens, investigating how mankind's accumulated knowledge ultimately reflects God and His creation.
Unlike other elementary schools, Calvary Christian Academy includes Bible study and lessons on American patriotism from Turning Point USA's Constitution Curriculum.
Calvary Christian Academy is a non-denominational school that attests that Jesus Christ is the only begotten son of God the Father, who died for our sins, and through whom we are given eternal life.
Our teachers and staff are held to a high standard of Christian love and biblical wisdom. We impress upon our teachers that they have the awesome responsibility of educating future Christians.
No!
We recognize that God created male and female when He created the Earth, and that this truth is unchanged by the new culture of gender.
At Calvary Christian Academy, we will never confuse your child to make them more acceptable to the world—but instead will give them the tools to stand steadfast in their faith, no matter where the world wanders.
We have a trained safety team that is on-site during school hours and during before/after school care. They make regular patrols and ensure all entrances are secured, and any guest is signed in and accounted for.
We also have 24/7 video monitoring of the entrances, playground, and hallways.
Upon enrollment, we will collect emergency contact information from you and any other guardian(s) of your child. Our policy is to over-communicate your child's welfare with you, erring on the side of keeping you informed.
We also hold parent-teacher conferences each semester to keep you informed about your child's academic progress.
Currently, we provide before- and after-school care, music programs, physical education, and extracurricular Bible study. We will continue to add more extracurricular options as our student body and staff grow.
